Business Insider has recognized InMobi as one of the hottest AdTech companies of this year. This is a huge win for the agency, and JMAC is proud to work with a company driving such significant innovation in the AdTech space!
The list highlighted Abhay Singhal, CEO and co-founder of InMobi Marketing Cloud, as one of the industry’s rising stars. InMobi had a banner year in 2021, generating $243 million in revenue and $300 million in total funding to date (according to Crunchbase.) Singhal has deftly led the India-based agency’s expansion to North America, which now accounts for 65% of this revenue total.
The main challenge InMobi aimed to solve this year was helping mobile advertisers survive and adapt in the wake of targeting changes such as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency, which makes it harder for advertisers to zero in on specific audiences. One such effort was the launch of a new ID product, which makes it easier for mobile app publishers to collect first-party data. InMobi has also made moves to acquire several mobile advertising firms, including Appsumer this past October.
