January—was it just us, or did it feel like the longest month in recorded history? Now that we’ve officially settled into the new year, we wanted to share updates since our last newsletter in December.
First, a big welcome to Jackson Elrod, our former PR intern, who has officially joined JMAC PR as a full-time Associate Account Executive—his first full-time role ever! We’re thrilled to have him on board.
This month also marked my first time at CES, where I had three jam-packed days of productive meetings and industry insights. I’ve shared my reflections on the experience in this blog: Reflections on CES 2025: A Decade of Innovation and Inspiration.
On a more somber note, the wildfires in LA were heartbreaking. Like many, I felt a mix of fear, sadness, and pride—pride in this city and how our community came together to support those affected.
On the professional front, I’m excited to continue serving as Board Treasurer for PRSA-LA this year, helping to shape programming, events, and support for our local PR community.
