The Challenge
Blameless is the incident management workflow solution for DevOps and SRE teams. Blameless drives resiliency across the software lifecycle by operationalizing Reliability Engineering practices. Leading brands such as Procore, Under Armour, Citrix, Mercari, Fox, and Home Depot, rely on Blameless to embrace a culture of continuous improvement, do more with less, and protect their customers. As a result, blameless sought to drive awareness of its incident management workflow solution and build executive visibility for its executives among its target audiences and within the broader technology community.
Strategies
To help Blameless increase its brand awareness and to help build executive visibility for its executives, Jmac PR sought to accomplish the following:
- Pitched Blameless stakeholders as an expert source for stories around trends and topics around Site Reliability, DevOps, and Incident Management, which resulted in press interviews, and also byline requests
- Pitched bylines and insights from Blameless to key target publications for earned media publication.
- Coordinated and cultivated relevant and high-level media and analyst relationships, which included DevOps.com, The New Stack, InfoWorld, Tech Beacon, SiliconANGLE, TechStrong.tv, SRE Weekly, APM Digest, ESG, Gartner, Red Monk, S&P Global, Constellation Research, etc.
- Leveraged and enhanced the reputation of Blameless stakeholders as emerging thought leaders across relevant areas, including Site Reliability, DevOps, and Incident Management
Results
Through our efforts, Jmac PR has created a steady flow of visibility among target media and analysts, which has helped to increase awareness and thought leadership for Blameless executives. The company has partnered with notable industry players like ServiceNow, Microsoft, and Opsgenie. In addition, Jmac PR was instrumental in securing media coverage for Blameless in publications like The New Stack, DevOps.com, TechCrunch, Venturebeat, and more. Of note:
