A Note From John
Since our last newsletter in February, it’s been an exciting season of growth and recognition for JMAC PR!
We’re incredibly proud to share that we were named one of Ragan’s Top Places to Work in Communications for 2025! This national award celebrates organizations that prioritize employee well-being, foster inclusive and collaborative cultures, and lead with purpose. Being honored alongside other trailblazing agencies is a meaningful milestone for us—and a reflection of the supportive, values-driven environment we continue to build.
We’re also thrilled to welcome our new intern, Kaiya Johnson-Williams, a third-year marketing student at San Diego State. Kaiya is the Marketing Director for Campus Curlz, a natural hair and service organization dedicated to uplifting and educating, and she’s an active member of the American Marketing Association. We’re lucky to have her on board!
In March, we traveled to San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference (GDC)—supporting a client and connecting with industry leaders. We’ve been attending GDC for several years now, and it always offers fresh insights into where gaming and tech are headed.
And most recently, we spent time in Charleston, SC at the PRSA Counselors Academy Conference, where PR agency owners come together to exchange ideas, challenges, and solutions. It was energizing to learn from peers who are navigating the same terrain and to forge new connections that fuel our continued growth.
Thanks for being part of our journey—more to come soon!
