A Note From John
Can’t believe we’re already in the last month of summer 2025; it’s flying by. Since our last newsletter in June, it’s been a busy stretch, both personally and on the agency front.
In June, I made my annual trip to Houston to see my mom and sisters (always a highlight), and also checked out my first Dodgers Filipino Heritage Night with a few PR friends and fellow PRSA-LA board members. Travel-wise, June and July had me bouncing between Vegas, Houston, New York, and Atlanta—lots of great energy and convos everywhere.
At JMAC, we’ve been having some strong meetings with businesses looking to close out the year on a high note. One area that’s been getting more attention lately is the LinkedIn support we’re offering: helping execs elevate their profiles in a way that ties directly into thought leadership and overall visibility.
Hope you’ve been enjoying your summer so far. Would love to hear what you’ve been up to.

Your PR Questions
How do you use RFPs to gain new business opportunities?
Personally, I’ve never been inclined to participate in RFPs. A few business coaches have given me the same advice: focus on building relationships and having conversations, because that’s where the best client-agency partnerships are built.
