A Note From John
As we wrap up 2024, it’s a great time to reflect on all that’s happened since our last newsletter in October. The team has been hard at work securing media placements and uncovering new opportunities for our clients.
In October, we had the privilege of attending both the PRSA-LA and PRSA-SF chapter awards nights—double duty for Jmac PR! I attended the LA event while Audree represented us in SF. We also nominated Audree for the PRSA-SF Foggies Award in the Rising Stars category, and while we didn’t win this time, we’re excited about next year’s opportunity.
October also brought LA Tech Week, a blast with many great events. I attended the ARF OTT event at NBCUniversal, gaining fresh insights into CTV/OTT trends. Then, in November, I was honored to speak to the PRSSA USC chapter about tech PR and attended the CIMM West event to continue learning about video measurement and CTV/OTT.
As we approach the end of the year, I’m proud to say that we’ve continued to grow from a business standpoint, seeing a boost in revenue compared to last year. But it’s not just the business growth that stands out; our team has had some memorable moments this year, too. From Michelin dinners and a fun Dodgers Day game to a WB Studio tour and volunteering at a food pantry for those less fortunate, we’ve built strong team connections.
I’m especially grateful for our team’s continued growth, the incredible work we’re doing for our client partners, and the longstanding partnerships we’ve built over the years. I want to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team, our partners, and supporters for everything you’ve contributed.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’re full of excitement and high hopes for even greater accomplishments.
Here’s to the future! I wish everyone an excellent end to the year and an even brighter start to 2025.
